Give imagination something real to start from.
Niblet is being built around a simple idea: children should be able to turn the world around them into characters and stories of their own, with a parent alongside them.
From the creator
“I built Niblet to give children a way to create characters and stories inspired by the world around them — and their own imagination.”
That means a family pet can become an explorer. A grandparent can become the keeper of a secret garden. A cardboard rocket can really fly. A character invented at breakfast can return in a completely different adventure at bedtime.
A family product first
Niblet is designed around an adult account and a side-by-side family experience. The child brings the imagination. The parent or carer guides what is created. Niblet helps with the time-consuming work of turning those ingredients into a written and illustrated story.
The aim is not to keep a child inside an app. The aim is to create something that can move out of the interface and become a shared story: something to read aloud, laugh about, revisit and build on next time.
The world around them is already full of story material
Niblet’s starting point is deliberately broader than putting a child’s name into a fixed template. Family members, pets, familiar places, invented creatures, toys, jokes and ordinary moments can all become part of a reusable story world.
That is why reusable characters matter so much to the product. A character does not have to disappear when one story ends. It can become part of an evolving family library and return whenever a new idea arrives.
See how Niblet turns imagination into something you can share.
Start with one thing they already love.
A person, a pet, a place or a completely invented character is enough to begin.
